Tip:
You should choose
an open area along a sidewall of your garage where you can centralize
all of your sports equipment. You may choose to have slotwall
product in this area, or if you are only storing large items
like bikes and golf bags, just mount the sports racks directly
to the studs. Bikes should be stored up high and out of the
way during periods of non-use. Typically, clients will have
a floor rack for the children’s bikes because it is very
easy to use. Parents will typically hang their bikes on the
wall because it’s easier for them to get the bikes down.
We have an extensive line of bike solutions to cover all your
needs.

The whole name
of the garage organization game is to get as many items off
the floor as possible. If you do this, your garage will be extremely
easy to keep clean. We carry products that cover the whole spectrum
of garage organization.

Tip:
If
you live in an area that has sustained freezing temperatures
during the Winter, make sure you bring all paint, car care
products, in other words anything that can freeze, inside
for the duration. These products will be ruined by letting
them freeze. Just box them up and label them for easy retrieval
in the Spring.

Tip:
Make sure you lubricate
any moving parts on your garage door/opener and put a protectant
on any garage door seal(s) once a year.

Tip:
In choosing cabinetry
for your garage, analyze where the most logical place to mount
it lies. This area is typically the back wall. Take into account
where the vehicles sit and how far the car doors swing out into
the open space. You should typically reserve the side walls
for slotwall systems and sporting equipment, because these items
tend to not encroach too much into the garage.
